Common questions
Who can join?
Anyone 18 or over who can receive payments by PayPal or Wise and follows the terms. You do not need to be a Pyrobid customer, though it helps to have tried the demo.
Does the free trial affect my commission?
Your referral starts a 14-day free trial. Commission starts at their first payment after the trial, so a trial that is cancelled earns nothing, and one that continues pays you every month for 12 months.
When and how do I get paid?
Each commission becomes payable 30 days after the customer's payment, which covers refunds. We pay once a month by PayPal or Wise when your payable balance reaches $50.
Can I give my audience a discount?
Not unless we give you one for it. Pyrobid's price is the same for everyone.
How long does my link keep counting?
60 days from the last click. If someone clicks another partner's link after yours, the later click counts.
Can I promote it with paid ads?
Yes, on your own keywords and audiences, as long as you do not bid on "Pyrobid" or misspellings of it, and your ads do not look like they come from us.
Partner program terms
These terms apply to anyone who joins the Pyrobid Partner Program ("you"). The program is run by Pyrobid, LLC ("Pyrobid", "we"). By signing up you agree to them.
1. What you earn
You earn 30% of each payment a customer you referred makes for a Pyrobid subscription, for the first 12 months after that customer's first payment. Commission is calculated on the amount actually paid, excluding taxes, refunds and credits. A signup that never makes a payment earns nothing.
2. Who counts as your referral
A customer counts as yours if they sign up within 60 days of last clicking your partner link, and no other partner link was clicked after yours. Our tracking system decides attribution, and its records are final. You cannot earn commission on your own subscription or on a business you own or control.
3. When you are paid
Commission becomes payable 30 days after the customer's payment. We pay monthly, by PayPal or Wise, once your payable balance is at least $50. You are responsible for any taxes on what you earn, and we may ask for a tax form (W-9 or W-8BEN) before paying.
4. Refunds, chargebacks and fraud
If a payment is refunded or disputed, the commission on it is cancelled, and if it was already paid we may deduct it from future commissions. We may withhold or cancel commissions on any referral we reasonably believe is fraudulent or breaks these terms.
5. How you may promote Pyrobid
You must say clearly, next to your link, that you may earn a commission (for example: "I earn a commission if you sign up through this link."), describe Pyrobid accurately using the features and prices on pyrobid.com, and follow the laws that apply to you, including advertising and anti-spam laws, and the rules of every site where you post. You must not: make any claim about how much money someone will earn by using Pyrobid, or imply that Pyrobid finds advertisers for them; bid on "Pyrobid" or any misspelling of it in paid search, or use it in a domain name, social media handle or ad that could look like it comes from us; send unsolicited email or messages, post spam in forums, comments or groups, or buy email lists; offer cash, rebates or other rewards to people for signing up or clicking; use cookie stuffing, pop-ups or pop-unders, browser extensions that insert links, bots, or any hidden or forced clicks; pretend to be Pyrobid or a Pyrobid customer, or write or pay for fake reviews; or offer any discount or coupon we have not given you.
6. Our brand
You may use the Pyrobid name and the logo from our partner portal only to promote Pyrobid under these terms, and you must stop when your membership ends.
7. Ending the partnership
Either of us can end your membership at any time. Valid commissions earned before the end are still paid under section 3, unless we ended it because you broke these terms.
8. Changes
We may change these terms or the commission rate with 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply to referrals made after the change.
9. The legal part
You are an independent partner, not our employee or agent. The program is run by Pyrobid, LLC and provided as is, and our total liability to you is limited to the unpaid commissions you have earned. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
