Pyrobid versus Epom

Your brand on it for a sixteenth of the price

Putting your name on Epom's ad server costs $500 a month before a single advertiser has bought anything. Pyrobid is $29.99 with your logo, your colours and your prices on it from the first afternoon, and a portal your advertisers buy through without ever emailing you.

What a branded portal actually costs on each platform

Epom Light: ad serving, 8.5M display impressions$250 / mo
Epom white-label add-on: your name, logo and domain$250 / mo
Epom, branded, per million impressions$58.82
Pyrobid Starter, branded portal included$29.99 / mo
Pyrobid, branded, per million impressions$29.99
Branded against branded, Pyrobid is about half the cost per impression.

Both figures from epom.com/pricing/ad-server, accessed 16 September 2026. Their pricing page lists white-label as a $250 a month premium add-on. Comparing their $250 tier against us is not like for like, because a white-label ad server without the white-label is not the product either of us is selling.

What Epom is built for

A high-volume white-label ad server for publishers, networks and advertisers, with video and HTML5 serving included at entry.

Their restricted-vertical marketing is about sportsbooks and casinos, with landing pages on compliance for regulated markets.

Crypto and cannabis are not addressed on their site.

What Pyrobid is built for

A publisher who wants advertisers to buy placements themselves, from a branded portal, without an email thread or a sales call.

The self-serve advertiser experience is the entire product rather than a feature of it, and Epom does not publish one.

We also cover crypto and cannabis publishers, not only gambling.

Why publishers choose Pyrobid instead

An ad server delivers the ad. It does not bring you the advertiser, take their money or answer to them.

The portal is the product

Your advertisers sign up, pick placements, upload creative, pay and go live themselves, on your brand, without an email thread. Epom does not publish a self-serve advertiser portal at all. That is the difference between an ad server and an ad business.

Entry price, published, $29.99

One million impressions, the whole platform, no sales call and no minimum term. Branding Epom puts their entry at $500, which is $58.82 per million against our $29.99. Start on ours this afternoon and see the portal with your logo on it before you have spoken to anybody.

Restricted verticals are welcome in writing

Crypto, cannabis, iGaming and forex publishers are supported here rather than tolerated, and we say so on the record. Most of the industry will not put that in writing at any price.

Every deal stays yours

No revenue share, no grading, no rate review. You set the floor, the advertiser bids at or above it, and the whole amount is yours.

Where Pyrobid wins

Mostly about who does the buying, and what the entry decision actually costs.

A self-serve advertiser portal

Advertisers register, fund an account, build a campaign and upload creative themselves. Epom does not publish this capability anywhere on their pricing, white-label or ad-server pages.

The entry decision is $29.99, not $250

$250 a month is a considered purchase and $29.99 is not. For a publisher testing whether direct sales works at all, that gap is the whole decision.

White-label without doubling the bill

Epom's pricing page lists white-label branding as a $250 a month add-on, which doubles their entry cost. Their own white-label product page describes branding as included, so the two pages disagree. Ours is branding on both paid plans and your own domain on Pro, stated plainly.

Restricted verticals beyond gambling

Epom publicly addresses gambling. Crypto and cannabis are unaddressed on their site. We support all three and say so.

Soft caps, no overage bill

Go past your monthly volume and we keep serving. Epom does not publish overage or CPM excess terms.

No revenue share, ever

The monthly fee is the whole cost of your direct deals, stated explicitly and permanently.

What your advertisers see

Your brand, on your own domain. They sign up, fund an account and build a campaign in five steps. You approve the artwork before anything runs.

Epom's pricing page lists white-label as a paid add-on while their white-label product page presents branding and domain as included. We have quoted the pricing page.

Your network keeps what you do not sell

Every ad request runs down a chain. Your direct deals get first refusal at your price. Anything unsold falls through to what you run today.

Choose Pyrobid if

  • ›You want advertisers to buy placements themselves, without emailing you
  • ›You are testing whether direct sales works and $250 a month is too big a bet
  • ›You publish in crypto or cannabis, not just gambling
  • ›You serve display and do not need video

Common questions

Is Epom cheaper per impression?

Only unbranded: $29.41 per million against our $29.99. Their white-label branding is a separate $250 a month, so a branded portal costs $500 there and $29.99 here, which is $58.82 per million against our $29.99. The unbranded tier is not the product either of us is selling.

Are there setup or implementation fees with Epom?

None are stated on their pricing page. Pyrobid has no setup fee either: sign up, create a placement and paste a tag.

Can I sell to gambling advertisers?

Yes. Location targeting down to region and city keeps each campaign to the markets its licence covers, day and hour scheduling handles fixtures, and every creative waits for your approval before it runs. Operators can pay by invoice or bank transfer, credited to their balance as a voucher.

Does Epom have a self-serve advertiser marketplace?

Not that they publish. We looked at their pricing page, their white-label page and their ad-server page and found no self-serve advertiser signup-and-buy flow described.

What about their white-label pricing?

Their two pages disagree. The pricing page lists white-label branding as a $250 a month premium add-on; the white-label product page describes tailoring logo, colours and domain as part of the product. We quote the pricing page.
