Rent the revenue, or own the relationship
A Coinzilla alternative for crypto publishers. A network rents you revenue this month. Your own portal builds a book of business that is yours.
What Coinzilla is
An ad network. They bring their own advertisers, they set your rates by grading your site, and they keep a cut they do not publish.
You get fill from day one and you never speak to a buyer. You also never find out who your advertisers were, what they paid, or why your rate is what it is.
What Pyrobid is
Software you run yourself. Your advertisers buy from your own branded portal, you set your own prices, and you keep one hundred percent of every deal.
Nobody grades your site. Nobody decides what your audience is worth except the people paying for it.
What the crypto networks take
Taken from each company's own publisher pages and FAQs, accessed 16 September 2026. Where a figure is missing it is because the network does not publish one.
| Platform | Model | Their cut | Who sets your rates |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pyrobid | Not a network. Software you run. | 0% of your direct deals | You do |
| Coinzilla | Network | Not published | The network |
| Cointraffic | Network | Not published | The network |
| Bitmedia | Network | 10 to 20%, up to 30% | Network, floor CPM allowed |
| AADS | Network | Flat 20% | Network, marketplace pricing |
Two of the four largest crypto ad networks do not publish what they take from publishers anywhere on their sites, and you can verify that in about two minutes.
What changes when you own the relationship
The take rate is the visible cost. These are the ones that compound.
You set the price
No grading, no rate handed down, no appeal process. You set the floor on every placement, and advertisers bid at or above it or they do not run.
You learn what your audience is worth
Every direct deal is a data point. After a few months you know what buyers will actually pay, which is something no network relationship will ever tell you.
Your advertisers pay you
No balance, no minimum payout, no waiting for a withdrawal to process. The money goes where money normally goes.
One counterparty becomes many
A network can re-rate you or de-list you. If that is your only demand, that is your whole revenue. Fifty direct advertisers is a different risk profile.
Your brand on the buying experience
Advertisers see your name and your portal, not a third party. That is the difference between being a publisher and being a traffic source.
An asset rather than a tag
A publisher with direct advertiser relationships owns something that can be valued and sold. A publisher with a network tag owns none of it.
What your advertisers see
Your brand, on your own domain. They sign up, fund an account and build a campaign in five steps. You approve the artwork before anything runs.

What a network costs you
Coinzilla fills the slot. What it never tells you is what your audience was actually worth.
You cannot audit what you cannot see
Coinzilla does not publish its cut, so you have no way to know what you are paying. Bitmedia publishes 10 to 20 per cent, sometimes 30. AADS publishes a flat 20. On your own portal the number is whatever you set, and all of it is yours.
You never learn your own rate
The network grades your site and hands down a price. You get no seat at that table, so you can never build a rate card, and every renewal is theirs to decide rather than yours to negotiate.
One counterparty is not a business
A network can re-rate or de-list you, and if that is your only demand your revenue goes with it. Direct advertisers are an asset you own. A network tag is not.
Run both, direct first
Your own deals fill at your price and anything unsold falls through to the network. That is the setup most crypto publishers should be running.
Your network keeps what you do not sell
Every ad request runs down a chain. Your direct deals get first refusal at your price. Anything unsold falls through to what you run today.
Choose Pyrobid if
- ›People already email you asking about ad rates
- ›You have an Advertise Here page that routes to an inbox
- ›You want to set your own rates and keep the whole deal
- ›You are building something you might one day sell
Keep the network too. Direct deals fill first and the network takes what is left, which is the setup Pyrobid is designed for.
Common questions
Do I have to leave Coinzilla to use Pyrobid?
No. Keep Coinzilla running underneath as your fallback: your direct deals fill first at your price, and what you do not sell falls through to the network, apart from one view in ten that shows your Advertise Here card by default. You can switch that off.
What does Coinzilla actually take?
They do not publish it. Neither does Cointraffic. Bitmedia publishes a range of 10 to 20 percent, sometimes up to 30, and AADS publishes a flat 20 percent. On your own portal there is no cut: what an advertiser pays for your space is yours.
I have no advertisers. Is this useless to me?
Then the portal is where you start collecting them. Put an Advertise Here page on your site with your placements and prices on it, keep the network running underneath, and the first enquiry lands in a portal that can already take the money.
Can I set my own prices?
Yes, that is the entire point. You publish your placements and the floor price on each one, and advertisers bid at or above that floor. No grading, no rate review process.
Are crypto publishers actually welcome here?
Yes, and we say so on the record. Restricted verticals are supported rather than tolerated, which is not something most ad tech will put in writing.
