Free media kit generator

Your audience, your ad spots and your prices on one page, in your own colours. Send brands a link or a PDF. Free, no account, and nothing you type is sent to us.

See your kit
1Your site
2Your audience

Fill in what you have and leave the rest empty. Only the numbers you add appear on the kit.

3Ad spots and prices

One row for each spot you sell. Suggest a price gives you a starting price to test.

4How brands book

Your draft is kept in this browser and nowhere else.

Let brands book from your kit

Your kit tells brands what you sell. With Pyrobid they can buy it: they sign up on your own branded advertise page, add funds and upload their ad, and nothing runs until you approve it. Put that page in your kit as the booking link.

What goes in a media kit

The six things a brand looks for before it writes back.

Who reads you

One or two lines a brand can match to its own customers. Specific beats big: who they are, and why they come to you.

Your numbers

Monthly pageviews and visitors, newsletter subscribers and open rate. Only what you can stand behind, from your own analytics.

Your ad spots

Each spot with its size and where it shows, so a brand knows what it is buying and which banner to send.

Your prices

A real price on every spot. Brands who see a price can decide on their own; a kit without one starts an email thread.

How to book

An email address at the least. A booking page where a brand can pay without waiting for you is better.

Your look

Your name, logo and colour, so the kit reads as yours. This tool takes them from your site.

A media kit, a rate card and an advertise page

They overlap. A rate card is the price list on its own. A media kit is the rate card with the case for buying: who reads you and how many of them there are. An advertise page is the media kit published on your own site. This tool makes the kit as a link and a PDF, and the same kit as HTML for your advertise page, so all three say the same thing.

Common questions

What is a media kit?

A short document that tells brands who your audience is, which ad spots you sell and what each one costs, so they can decide to buy without a round of emails. Websites, blogs and newsletters all use one.

What should a media kit include?

Who reads you in a line or two, your monthly numbers, each ad spot with its size and where it shows, a price for each, and how to book. The generator asks for exactly those, and only what you fill in appears.

How much should I charge?

Suggest a price gives each spot a starting point: $4 per 1,000 views for a website spot, the low end of the direct range we publish, and $15 per 1,000 subscribers per send for a general interest newsletter or $50 for a business one, the low ends of the ranges beehiiv quotes. Raise it until some brands say no. The newsletter rate calculator and the ad rate planner show the working.

Is it free? Do I need an account?

It is free, with no account. Your kit lives in its own link: share it, open it any time, or save it as a PDF.

Is anything I type stored?

Not by us. The kit is written into its own link, after the # sign, which browsers do not send to any server. The draft you are working on stays in this browser, so it is still here when you come back.

Can I make a media kit for my newsletter?

Yes. Add your subscribers and open rate, then a newsletter spot priced per send. A newsletter on its own works too: leave the website numbers empty.

How do I send it to brands?

Paste your kit link into an email or onto your site, or save it as a PDF and attach it. Copy HTML for your site gives you the same kit to paste into your own Advertise page.

Let brands buy what your kit offers.

Your own branded advertise page, where businesses sign up, add funds and upload their ads. Nothing runs until you approve it, and your current ads keep running underneath.
